Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Slovakia reached an all time high of 4,665 persons in 1961 and an all time low of -10,132 persons in 1990. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Austria amounted to 20,314 persons, 3,621 persons in Czechia, 19,870 persons in Hungary and -2,968 persons in Poland in 2021.
