Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Belarus reached an all time high of 15,937 persons in 2017 and an all time low of -34,548 persons in 1960. When compared to Belarus's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Lithuania amounted to -11,853 persons, -2,968 persons in Poland, 320,617 persons in Russia and 831 persons in Ukraine in 2021.
Belarus has been ranked 37th within the group of 176 countries we follow in terms of five years cumulative net migration, 17 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
