Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Malta reached an all time high of 11,247 persons in 2019 and an all time low of -7,157 persons in 1963. When compared to Malta's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Greece amounted to -14,806 persons, 28,021 persons in Italy, -9,189 persons in Tunisia and -69,729 persons in Turkey in 2021.
