Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Guatemala reached an all time high of 389 persons in 1961 and an all time low of -66,153 persons in 2000. When compared to Guatemala's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in Belize amounted to 577 persons, -27,343 persons in El Salvador, -5,779 persons in Honduras and -10,384 persons in Nicaragua in 2021.
