Historically, five years cumulative net migration in Kyrgyzstan reached an all time high of 22,875 persons in 1965 and an all time low of -103,695 persons in 1993. When compared to Kyrgyzstan's main peers, five years cumulative net migration in China amounted to -200,194 persons, -18,917 persons in Kazakhstan, -3,564 persons in Tajikistan and -39,201 persons in Uzbekistan in 2021.
