Historically, neonatal mortality per 1,000 live births in Fiji reached an all time high of 14.4 in 1985 and an all time low of 9.00 in 2000. When compared to Fiji's main peers, neonatal mortality per 1,000 live births in Estonia amounted to 1.40, 1.60 in Norway, 3.80 in Russia and 1.60 in Sweden in 2015.
