Motor vehicles per 1,000 people rose 6.41% to 313 vehicles in Syria in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Syria reached an all time high of 313 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 197 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Syria's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Iraq amounted to 110 vehicles, 148 vehicles in Jordan, 136 vehicles in Lebanon and 202 vehicles in Turkey in 2015.
