Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 514 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 264 vehicles in 2006. When compared to Bulgaria's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Greece amounted to 562 vehicles, 281 vehicles in Romania, 219 vehicles in Serbia and 202 vehicles in Turkey in 2015.
