Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Peru reached an all time high of 79.2 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 49.8 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Peru's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Bolivia amounted to 70.5 vehicles, 212 vehicles in Brazil, 250 vehicles in Chile and 109 vehicles in Colombia in 2015.
