Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Israel reached an all time high of 377 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 285 vehicles in 2003. When compared to Israel's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Egypt amounted to 68.4 vehicles, 148 vehicles in Jordan, 136 vehicles in Lebanon and 313 vehicles in Syria in 2015.
