Motor vehicles per 1,000 people rose 2.95% to 219 vehicles in Serbia in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Serbia reached an all time high of 219 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 163 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Serbia's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 241 vehicles, 394 vehicles in Croatia, 378 vehicles in Hungary and 281 vehicles in Romania in 2015.
