Motor vehicles per 1,000 people rose 10.4% to 68.4 vehicles in Egypt in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Egypt reached an all time high of 68.4 vehicles in 2015 and an all time low of 40.7 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Egypt's main peers, motor vehicles per 1,000 people in Israel amounted to 377 vehicles, 438 vehicles in Libya, 223 vehicles in Saudi Arabia and 2.83 vehicles in Sudan in 2015.
