Historically, motor gasoline consumption in Belgium reached an all time high of 74.0 '000 bpd in 1980 and an all time low of 28.2 '000 bpd in 2012. When compared to Belgium's main peers, motor gasoline consumption in France amounted to 164 '000 bpd, 422 '000 bpd in Germany, 6.85 '000 bpd in Luxembourg and 90.2 '000 bpd in Netherlands in 2015.
