Historically, mortgage loans in the Czech Republic reached an all time high of CZK 1,148 bil in 2017 and an all time low of CZK 6.43 bil in 1997. When compared to Czech Republic's main peers, mortgage loans in Austria amounted to EUR 129 bil, HUF 3,030 bil in Hungary, PLN 391 bil in Poland and EUR 25.4 bil in Slovakia in 2017.
