Historically, mortgage loans in France reached an all time high of EUR 1,599 in 3Q2023 and an all time low of EUR 354 in 1Q2003. When compared to France's main peers, mortgage loans in Belgium amounted to EUR 319 , EUR 1,386 in Germany, EUR 455 in Italy and EUR 874 bil in Spain in 1Q2024.
