Merchandise trade as a share of GDP rose 31.6% to 49.4% in Peru in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, merchandise trade as a share of GDP in Peru reached an all time high of 50.4% in 2008 and an all time low of 18.1% in 1991.
