Merchandise trade as a share of GDP rose 13.5% to 75.5% in Moldova in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, merchandise trade as a share of GDP in Moldova reached an all time high of 114% in 2007 and an all time low of 66.5% in 2020.
