Mediobanca generated total banking revenues of EUR 465 mil in the second quarter of 2016, up 8.6% when compared to the same period of last year and down 8.45% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 624 mil in 1Q2015 and an all time low of EUR -130 mil in 2Q2006. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to EUR 507 mil.
Net interest income represented 74.2% of total revenues, fee income contributed 17.1% and other non-interest income added further 8.74% to the overall revenue generation in 2Q2016.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 2.66% total assets in the second quarter of 2016, up from 2.42% a year earlier.
