Historically, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Brunei reached an all time high of 18.5% in 2021 and an all time low of 8.68% in 1974. When compared to Brunei's main peers, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Indonesia amounted to 19.3%, 23.5% in Malaysia, 17.6% in Philippines and 24.6% in Vietnam in 2021.
