Historically, maize production in Turkey reached an all time high of 6,750 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 800 kt in 1962. When compared to Turkey's main peers, maize production in Bulgaria amounted to 3,427 kt, 1,323 kt in Greece, 374 kt in Iraq and 320 kt in Iran in 2021.
