Historically, maize production in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 590 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 124 kt in 1998. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, maize production in Kazakhstan amounted to 1,130 kt, 691 kt in Kyrgyzstan, 240 kt in Tajikistan and 7.70 kt in Turkmenistan in 2021.
