Historically, maize production in Cambodia reached an all time high of 1,232 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 38.0 kt in 1987. When compared to Cambodia's main peers, maize production in China amounted to 272,552 kt, 1,050 kt in Laos, 5,300 kt in Thailand and 4,446 kt in Vietnam in 2021.
