Historically, maize production in Ghana reached an all time high of 3,500 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 172 kt in 1983. When compared to Ghana's main peers, maize production in Benin amounted to 1,628 kt, 1,140 kt in Ivory Coast and 929 kt in Togo in 2021.
