Historically, maize production in Myanmar reached an all time high of 2,300 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 47.3 kt in 1965. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, maize production in China amounted to 272,552 kt, 31,650 kt in India, 1,050 kt in Laos and 5,300 kt in Thailand in 2021.
