Historically, maize production in Thailand reached an all time high of 5,300 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 598 kt in 1961. When compared to Thailand's main peers, maize production in Cambodia amounted to 920 kt, 1,050 kt in Laos, 74.7 kt in Malaysia and 2,300 kt in Myanmar in 2021.
