Historically, maize production in Croatia reached an all time high of 2,505 kt in 2008 and an all time low of 1,190 kt in 2000. When compared to Croatia's main peers, maize production in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 893 kt, 2.58 kt in Montenegro, 6,027 kt in Serbia and 389 kt in Slovenia in 2021.
