Historically, maize production in Bhutan reached an all time high of 94.1 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 30.9 kt in 2021. When compared to Bhutan's main peers, maize production in Bangladesh amounted to 4,116 kt, 272,552 kt in China, 31,650 kt in India and 2,998 kt in Nepal in 2021.
