Historically, killed in road traffic accidents in Norway reached an all time high of 560 persons in 1970 and an all time low of 117 persons in 2015. When compared to Norway's main peers, killed in road traffic accidents in Denmark amounted to 211 persons, 256 persons in Finland, 18.0 persons in Iceland and 270 persons in Sweden in 2016.
