Historically, kerosene consumption in Egypt reached an all time high of 52.4 '000 bpd in 1988 and an all time low of 1.44 '000 bpd in 2015. When compared to Egypt's main peers, kerosene consumption in Israel amounted to 5.76 '000 bpd, 4.72 '000 bpd in Libya, 8.09 '000 bpd in Saudi Arabia and 0.064 '000 bpd in Sudan in 2015.
