Historically, kerosene consumption in Iran reached an all time high of 186 '000 bpd in 1997 and an all time low of 26.1 '000 bpd in 1999. When compared to Iran's main peers, kerosene consumption in Iraq amounted to 28.0 '000 bpd, 3.85 '000 bpd in Pakistan and 3.18 '000 bpd in Turkmenistan in 2015.
