Historically, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Kenya reached an all time high of 1.42% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.116% in 1986. When compared to Kenya's main peers, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Ethiopia amounted to 1.25%, 0.157% in Somalia, 0.148% in Tanzania and 0.281% in Uganda in 2015.
