Kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption rose 118% to 1.25% in Ethiopia in 2015, according to EIA.

Historically, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Ethiopia reached an all time high of 1.25% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.015% in 1993. When compared to Ethiopia's main peers, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Eritrea amounted to 0.067%, 1.42% in Kenya, 0.157% in Somalia and 0.014% in Sudan in 2015.
