Historically, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Botswana reached an all time high of 0.095% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.002% in 2001. When compared to Botswana's main peers, kerosene consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Namibia amounted to 0.010%, 2.12% in South Africa, 0.067% in Zambia and 0.214% in Zimbabwe in 2015.
