Historically, jet fuel consumption in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 10.0 '000 bpd in 2015 and an all time low of 2.12 '000 bpd in 1988. When compared to Sri Lanka's main peers, jet fuel consumption in India amounted to 123 '000 bpd, 63.7 '000 bpd in Malaysia, 2.87 '000 bpd in Maldives and 2.63 '000 bpd in Myanmar in 2015.
