Historically, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Lithuania reached an all time high of 0.505% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.014% in 1997. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Belarus amounted to 0.081%, 0.024% in Estonia, 0.066% in Latvia and 6.86% in Russia in 2015.
Lithuania has been ranked 42nd within the group of 173 countries we follow in terms of jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption, 15 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
