Historically, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Kuwait reached an all time high of 0.436% in 2015 and an all time low of 0.136% in 1991. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Bahrain amounted to 0.264%, 0.325% in Iraq, 0.772% in Iran and 1.89% in Saudi Arabia in 2015.
Kuwait has been ranked 46th within the group of 173 countries we follow in terms of jet fuel consumption as a share of worldwide consumption, 11 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
