J&T Banka's capital adequacy ratio reached 22.9% at the end of second quarter of 2024, down from 26.0% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 26.0% in 1Q2024 and an all time low of 15.6% in 1Q2018.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 21.9% at the end of second quarter of 2024, down from 24.1% compared to the same period of last year and up from 17.8% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 53.7% at the end of 2Q2024, up from 52.5% when compared to the same period of last year.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the second quarter of 2024 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.0% and loans to deposits of 69.0%, CSOB with 20.0% and 68.5% respectively and Komercni Banka some 18.9% in terms of capital adequacy and 69.3% of loans to deposits at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
