Historically, expenditure of international tourism as a percentage of total imports in Serbia reached an all time high of 6.39% in 2019 and an all time low of 3.91% in 2020. When compared to Serbia's main peers, expenditure of international tourism as a percentage of total imports in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1.68%, 2.82% in Croatia, 1.10% in Hungary and 3.34% in Romania in 2020.
