Historically, interest rate on bank loans in Moldova reached an all time high of 40.8% in 1995 and an all time low of 7.40% in 2021. When compared to Moldova's main peers, interest rate on bank loans in Bulgaria amounted to 4.12%, 5.61% in Romania, 7.18% in Russia and 13.3% in Ukraine in 2021.
