Historically, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment in Lithuania reached an all time high of 4.32% in 2021 and an all time low of 0.314% in 2003. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment in Belarus amounted to 0.968%, 1.57% in Estonia, 3.59% in Latvia and 3.57% in Russia in 2021.
Lithuania has been ranked 57th within the group of 134 countries we follow in terms of insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment, 39 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
