Historically, infant mortality per 1,000 live births in Malaysia reached an all time high of 67.2 in 1960 and an all time low of 6.40 in 2014. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, infant mortality per 1,000 live births in Cambodia amounted to 27.5, 2.10 in Singapore, 9.00 in Thailand and 17.3 in Vietnam in 2015.
