Imports of services as a part of balance of payment rose 48.4% to USD 1.03 bil in Kosovo in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, imports of services as a part of balance of payment in Kosovo reached an all time high of USD 1.03 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 0.335 bil in 2004. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, imports of services as a part of balance of payment in Albania amounted to USD 2.00 bil, USD 1.47 bil in Macedonia, USD 0.755 bil in Montenegro and USD 7.53 bil in Serbia in 2021.
Kosovo has been ranked 116th within the group of 140 countries we follow in terms of imports of services as a part of balance of payment, 21 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
