Historically, imports of services as a part of balance of payment in Latvia reached an all time high of USD 4.22 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 0.156 bil in 1992. When compared to Latvia's main peers, imports of services as a part of balance of payment in Belarus amounted to USD 5.67 bil, USD 8.37 bil in Estonia, USD 9.60 bil in Lithuania and USD 75.9 bil in Russia in 2021.
Latvia has been ranked 80th within the group of 140 countries we follow in terms of imports of services as a part of balance of payment, 10 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
