Imports as a share of GDP rose 13.3% to 0.242% in Sri Lanka in 2021, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, imports as a share of GDP in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 0.548% in 1980 and an all time low of 0.214% in 2020.
