Idea Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 14.0% at the end of 2017, down from 14.4% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 14.9% in 2015 and an all time low of 11.8% in 2012.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 12.6% at the end of 2017, up from 12.0% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 93.0% at the end of 2017, up from 72.1% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Idea Bank with its closest peers, Alior Bank ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 15.2% and loans to deposits of 89.0%, Getin Holding with 9.79% and 87.3% respectively and Getin Noble Bank some 12.4% in terms of capital adequacy and 87.9% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.
