On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 8.36% at the end of 2017, up from -20.5% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 7,748% in 1994 and an all time low of -46.0% in 1993. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 7.92%.
At the end of 2017, HSBC Bank Turkey's loans accounted for 92.9% of total deposits and 61.9% of total assets.
