Based on a comparison of 27 countries in 2013, Slovakia ranked the highest in average length of hospital stay for single spontaneous delivery with 5.10 days followed by Hungary and Czech Republic. On the other end of the scale was Mexico with 1.30 days, United Kingdom with 1.50 days and Turkey with 1.50 days.
