Based on a comparison of 170 countries in 2014, South Sudan ranked the highest in time to import with 130 days followed by Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. On the other end of the scale was Singapore with 4.00 days, Cyprus with 5.00 days and Hong Kong with 5.00 days.

Average time to import reached 24.5 days in 2014 in the World according to the National Statistical Office. This is 0.93 % less than in the previous year and % the same as 10 years ago.

Historically, average time to import reached an all time high of 31.4 days in 2005 and an all time low of 24.1 days in 2011. The average annual growth amounted to -2.74 % since 2005.
