Historically, household final consumption expenditure in Malaysia reached an all time high of USD 218,271 bil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 1,187 bil in 1960. When compared to Malaysia's main peers, household final consumption expenditure in Cambodia amounted to USD 17,572 bil, USD 122,950 bil in Singapore, USD 263,396 bil in Thailand and USD 202,965 bil in Vietnam in 2021.
