Historically, hi-tech exports in Vietnam reached an all time high of USD 102 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 0.004 bil in 1998. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, hi-tech exports in Cambodia amounted to USD 0.308 bil, USD 757 bil in China, USD 0.236 bil in Laos and USD 45.8 bil in Thailand in 2020.
Vietnam has been ranked 8th within the group of 133 countries we follow in terms of hi-tech exports, 23 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
